Pittsburg City Hall will be closed to the public from Monday, December 24, 2012 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013. City offices will reopen for regular working hours on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
The closure affects counter service at several city departments, including the Payment Center, Water Department and Building Permit counter. The Pittsburg Police Department service counter has its own entrance at City Hall, and will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays during this period. Other police operations will continue as usual. The Pittsburg Housing Authority, which is located at 916 Cumberland Street, will be open during its regular business hours.
City Hall staff will be available to provide information and services on weekdays during the closure, except for the holidays on Christmas Day (Tuesday, December 25) and New Years Day (Tuesday, January 1).
