Pete Escovedo, 81, is a proud Pittsburg native who has toured internationally with guitarist Carlos Santana, performing on many of Santana’s most successful recordings. He struck out on his own career to follow in the footsteps of his mentor, the great Tito Puente, and has issued 11 albums of his own work. He’s had a long and distinguished career as a performer and mentor to other musicians….
