On May 7, 2011, the speed and adrenaline of professional cycling will hit the streets of Pittsburg.  Bring your bikes, trikes and walking shoes to join the fun!

A "criterium" is a multi-lap bicycle race consisting of 30-45 action-packed laps on a closed course of one mile or less.  The Pittsburg Twilight Criterium featuring FitFest 2011 is far more than a professional cycling race.  It is a family festival of fitness, health, and wellness to kick off the summer season.  Get ready for field events, live music, demonstrations, classes, health screenings and more!

Between the races, join our fun, free family programming. Join our Family Fun Walk, sit in on Fitness Classes; stroll the FitFest Villages to learn about health, fitness, and wellness through information booths, activities, and programming; Meet the Kaiser Permanente Super Weevil to learn about nutrition; cruise through our Bike Safety Obstacle Course; enter the Kids Bike Races, and come face to face the professional cyclists in our Pro Village.
